The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for our client. This VP will be an accomplished leader, experienced communicator, critical thinker, and creative strategist who will market our client's brand on a variety of digital and traditional platforms to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience.

The Vice President of Marketing will be passionate about building and leading a marketing team and joining an exciting company in a unique market.

• Leading overall strategy for digital and traditional media, including PPC/retargeting, SEO, affiliates, email, direct mail, website UX, social and Google Analytics
• Building out and developing a high performing marketing team with growing expertise in their respective specialties
• Developing and growing our existing E-commerce business
• Assessing and managing third party agencies by analyzing work, providing feedback on performance, and adjusting approach and marketing spend as required
• Gathering, analyzing, and presenting complex information to make data-driven decisions on marketing channels to drive revenue
• Creating engaging, keyword-rich content for website, email, flyers, catalogs, mailers, and other marketing platforms & materials
• Utilizing several platforms to work with agencies and cross functional teams and manage tasks promptly
• Track and report on results using various data analysis tools to make important decisions, improve conversion rates, and ultimately grow revenue
• Challenging the status quo and presenting new opportunities to improve the efficiency of existing processes and achieve desired outcomes
• Assessing and implementing leading marketing and e-commerce technologies
• Conducting market research and stay abreast of industry trends

• Data-driven spending to drive revenue growth in the respective nonprofit and small business verticals through a combination of traditional and digital marketing techniques, including emails, catalogs and other trade publications.
• Development of key relationships with large customers that require marketing materials to promote the company to their members, as well as assessing current and prospective marketing vendors and developing strong working relationships that drive quantifiable revenues.
• Significant progress on the renaming/rebranding of the company that resonates with partners.
• Working with a third-party agency to redesign the website and user experience.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive marketing and leadership experience.
• Significant digital marketing leadership experience; ideally within retail or CPG industries.
• E-commerce industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form to both internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Analytics.
• Experience managing PPC, SEO, Email and Google Analytics.
• Some but minimal travel required to build and maintain vendor relations.
