Job Title: Remote Public Relations Officer
Hourly Pay: $21 - $27/hour

• Develop and implement PR strategies to elevate brand visibility and reputation
• Write press releases, media alerts, and content that reflect the company’s voice
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers

Coordinate media events, press briefings, and interviews

Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities for engagement

• Manage crisis communication and respond to media inquiries with professionalism

Align messaging across internal and external channels

Collaborate with marketing teams to support integrated campaigns

Analyze PR campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed

• Foster strong ties with stakeholders, community partners, and industry professionals

Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field

2+ years of experience in public or media relations

Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills

Proven success in media outreach and securing press coverage

Strong judgment under pressure and during crisis response

Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social platforms

• Knowledge of PR trends, tools, and best practices
