From bid to build to paid. From the office to the field to the entire company. Sledge is Construction AI.Sledge is the agentic, AI-native operating system for construction, handling the busywork of running a construction business so builders can spend more time building and less time on paperwork. Built for subcontractors and small to mid-size general contractors, Sledge is already live with a growing group of beta users.
Sledge is early and founder-led, building its marketing team from scratch, so the person in this role has real ownership from day one.
Sledge is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to own brand voice, brand image, and campaign strategy, both online and in the real world, and set the direction for Sledge's marketing team. This role reports to the marketing team now, with real potential to grow into a marketing leadership role as Sledge's team grows. You'll come up with campaign ideas, shape what Sledge creates next, and direct the Graphic Designer, Copywriter, Video Editor, and social media content creators to bring it to life.
This role owns the idea, the direction, and the execution, not just the schedule.
This is a foundational role. Sledge doesn't have a marketing department yet, it has a handful of specialists and a founder doing double duty. You'll build the systems, processes, and know-how that turn that into an actual department: how campaigns get planned, how brand voice stays consistent, how the team works together, both on screens and on jobsites. Sledge wants someone who can wear a lot of hats, work cross-functionally with product and sales, and set the stage for a team that doesn't exist yet.
you'll do
- Brand and strategy
- Own Sledge's brand voice and brand image across every campaign, online and off
- Set the direction and strategy for Sledge's marketing team
- Come up with campaign ideas and creative concepts for Sledge's marketing
- Direct the Graphic Designer, Copywriter, Video Editor, and social media content creators to execute on those ideas
- Build the marketing infrastructure, processes, and know-how Sledge doesn't have yet
- Digital marketing
- Build and manage the content calendar across social, email, blog, and video
- Schedule and publish social media posts across platforms
- Manage email marketing sends and lists
- Pull performance numbers and use them to shape the next campaign
- Physical and real-world marketing
- Plan and run in-person events, trade shows, and jobsite activations
- Coordinate print materials, signage, swag, and anything with the Sledge logo on it
- Build relationships with trade associations, distributors, and local contractor communities
- Represent Sledge in person at industry events and out in the field with contractors
- Team and cross-functional
- Track what's live where, and flag anything that's falling behind
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and the founders on marketing priorities
- Help grow Sledge's marketing team over time, with room to step into a leadership role
In your first 90 days, you'll have a content calendar running, a first campaign live start to finish, and a plan for Sledge's next event or activation. Within a year, you'll have a repeatable marketing playbook, a small team you help run, and a brand that shows up consistently everywhere it needs to, online and on the jobsite.
