WatchVIM is looking for a Social Content Coordinator to help schedule and organize promotional content across Meta/Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and Tik Tok. This role is perfect for someone who understands entertainment, streaming platforms, LGBTQIA+ storytelling, Black and brown audiences, and social media trends.
The Social Content Coordinator will support WatchVIM’s weekly content rollout by scheduling posts, organizing captions, coordinating assets, tracking platform activity, and helping make sure our films, series, trailers, clips, and announcements are consistently promoted across all social channels.
Manage and schedule social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and Tik Tok.
Organize captions, hashtags, video clips, graphics, trailers, and promotional assets.
Maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar for WatchVIM releases, campaigns, and platform updates.
Ensure all posts match the WatchVIM brand voice: bold, inclusive, cinematic, entertaining, and culturally relevant.
Track post performance and provide basic reporting on engagement, reach, and audience response.
Help identify trending sounds, formats, hashtags, and social moments that WatchVIM can tap into.
Coordinate with the WatchVIM team on upcoming releases, featured titles, subscription promos, and filmmaker campaigns.
Experience Needed Must have basic experience managing or scheduling content for social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and X/Twitter.
Platform Knowledge Should understand how to post, schedule, format captions, use hashtags, tag accounts, and adjust content for each platform.
Content Organization Must be able to organize graphics, video clips, trailers, captions, release dates, links, and campaign materials.
Scheduling Tools
Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, Canva Content Planner, or similar platforms is preferred.
Writing Skills Should be able to write or lightly revise captions that feel entertaining, clean, bold, and aligned with WatchVIM’s voice.
Entertainment Awareness Must understand film, streaming, indie content, LGBTQIA+ stories, Black/brown culture, and social media trends.
Weekly Availability Must be available part-time, ideally 8–12 hours per week, to schedule posts, review assets, and make updates.
Basic Reporting Should provide simple weekly updates on what was posted, engagement numbers, top-performing posts, and any content suggestions.
Reliability Must meet deadlines, follow the content calendar, communicate clearly, and keep WatchVIM’s social pages active and consistent.
