The vision of The Bridge to Hope is to end homelessness One Family at a Time by equipping churches to take a vested interest in a single mother and her children in crisis.
Our target population is homeless single mothers (drug‑free and alcohol‑free) with minor children under 10, physically and emotionally capable of full‑time employment. Currently five families are served; capacity to serve one family for up to 24 months. The ministry is limited to Phoenix, Arizona.
To support these families, The Bridge to Hope seeks church mentors – members of Phoenix Bible Church – who can provide emotional, spiritual and practical support.
Responsibilities- Attend Bridge Dinner twice per month
- Take your Bridge family to church weekly
- Coordinate one fun activity per month
- Provide transportation when needed
- Member of Phoenix Bible Church
- Volunteer willing to mentor a homeless single mother and her children
- Register as a volunteer with The Bridge to Hope
- Receive endorsement from your Pastor
