Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a Part time OR Registered Nurse to join the team! The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, GYN, Plastics, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
- Handle preoperative and intraoperative nursing activities for adult to pediatric patients within the stated scope of services.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- OR experience required
- Current Arizona license as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR, ACLS and PALS
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing.
- Monday to Friday work schedule
- NO call required
