Overview
Seeking full time experienced night shift ICU, ED or Med Surge/ICU trained RN’s for our Multi Specialty unit located in the Glendale area. Phoenix Children’s Arrowhead Hospital’s pediatric inpatient unit cares for both acute and critically ill pediatric patients, utilizing a patient and family centered approach to provide compassionate and high-quality care for children of all ages. This 48-bed unit treats a variety of acute and critical care specialty needs including medical-surgical, ENT, endocrinology, pulmonology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, and others.
If you are an experienced pediatric RN with at least 1 year of experience, have excellent communication, critical thinking, and strong decision-making skills, along with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, apply today! Night shift interest highly preferred. Must have at least 1 year of pediatric bedside ICU RN experience. No New Grads will be considered.
This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Education- Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
- Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
