Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking an Intake Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time with a background in Behavioral Health to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! 12 hour shifts! Sign on bonus of $5,000 for a full time Night Shift RN hire.
Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who coordinates the intake/Admission process or new admits. Prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Intake Registered Nurse (RN) PRN documents and reassesses any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
The RN completes and reports acuities to supervisor for the next shifts staffing levels.
Location: 3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Night shift 7p-7:30a Back End

Qualifications- Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65 yrs+.
- 1 year of med/surge experience
