Shift
Schedule:
Night (Noc) Shift
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a psychiatric hospital required
- Current RN license and AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire
- CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Knowledge of growth and development principles, with the ability to assess, interpret data, determine patient care needs, and deliver age-appropriate care
- Understanding of the legal aspects of nursing and the importance of accurate, timely documentation according to standards, policies, and procedures
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per facility protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care
- Monitor and record patients’ physical and emotional status, reporting any significant changes
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment
- Participate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
