Registered Nurse - ED Nights

Valley wise Health, a Level One Trauma Center,is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department (ED) Nurse to join our fast-paced team. As an ED Nurse, you will provide immediate, high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies. You will be responsible for rapid assessments, critical interventions, and stabilization, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving treatment in a high-pressure environment.

Hourly Pay Rate: $35.52 - $52.39

Qualifications

Education:

• Requires a Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing.

Experience:

• Must have at least one (1) year of recent acute care hospital RN experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities; or if completed the New Grad RN program at Valley wise Health then must have at least one year of Valley wise Health experience as a RN and be in good standing.

Certification/Licensure:

• Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
• Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
• Must have ACLS and PALS upon hire or transfer.
• Must obtain ATCN or TNCC within twelve (12) months and ENPC within twelve (12) months.
• Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (PCEN), or Trauma Certified Emergency Nurse (TCRN) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g. formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to be able to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer.
• Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
