Ambulatory Infusion Center Registered Nurse (RN)
Onsite – Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
As an Ambulatory Infusion Center Registered Nurse (RN) with AIS Healthcare, you will practice at the top of your license in a patient-centered outpatient environment, delivering complex specialty therapies while building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality, individualized infusion care in a collaborative ambulatory setting, outside of the traditional hospital environment.
While the primary assignment is onsite at the Phoenix ambulatory infusion center, this role will include intermittent home infusion coverage within the local service area as needed.

As an Ambulatory Infusion Center / Home Infusion RN, you will:
- Provide safe, effective infusion therapy in an ambulatory infusion center setting, following physician orders, clinical protocols, and established standards of care.
- Administer a wide range of specialty biologic and disease-modifying therapies, including IVIG and chronic disease treatments.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring patient response and recognizing potential adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment expectations, potential side effects, disease-state considerations, and post-infusion care.
- Perform and maintain vascular access, including peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs, and other central venous access devices.
- Accurately document all clinical care, assessments, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, accreditation, and regulatory requirements, including participation in quality and safety activities.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and care coordination teams to support treatment planning and continuity of care.
- Provide occasional home infusion nursing visits within the local service area as operational needs arise (travel time paid; mileage reimbursed per policy).
- Participate in ongoing specialty infusion training and competency validation related to biologic therapies and infusion safety.

Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; IV-related or infusion experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with patients, providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic clinical documentation systems
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
- Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL
- No business exclusion clause
- Three years of nursing experience
- One year of infusion therapy experience
- Ambulatory infusion center or home infusion experience
- RN Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
