Seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join a collaborative OB/GYN inpatient service at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix (BUMC-P). BUMC-P has been designated as Arizona’s first and only level IV center for perinatal care. With more than 6,000 deliveries per year, this high-volume institution provides a strong foundation for education, research, and excellent patient care. We practice in a teaching hospital, providing care to an underserved, culturally diverse population.

Applicant will work in a hospital setting. Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic are needed. Prior experience in cross-cultural care, and community service preferred. Spanish speaking a plus.

- Passion for providing care for diverse vulnerable populations.
- Providing Care for routine and high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with DMG ob/gyn hospitalists.
- Triaging pregnant patients presenting to the hospital for a variety of complaints (16-40+ weeks).
- Rounding on low-risk postpartum patients.
- Working as part of an integrated team of physicians and midwives in a high-risk medical model setting.
The position would include employment through District Medical Group Inc. (“DMG”), a 400+ physician multi‑specialty group. DMG operates the L&D service at BUMC-P for patients from Mountain Park Health Center.
