Nurse Manager - Children's Services

As a Nurse Manager for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Pediatric Department, you’ll play a vital leadership role in delivering exceptional, family-centered care to our youngest patients. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pediatric and critical care nurses to reach their fullest potential
• Foster an environment that embraces evidence-based practice, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to enhance patient outcomes and team performance
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management
• Support staff engagement, retention, and professional development through coaching and recognition
• Drive quality and safety initiatives that promote excellence in patient and family care

Annual Salary Range: $ - $

Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing.

Prefer a master’s degree in nursing.

Must have at least five (5) years of clinical experience with two to three (2‑3) years of demonstrated leadership experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the department.

Must possess a current, valid Arizona RN license and be in good standing with the AZ Board of Nursing.

Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.

ACLS, PALS, ATNC, or other certifications may be required.

Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Bilingual is preferred.

Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.

Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.

Computer knowledge with Windows based systems is a plus.
