Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with expertise in Behavioral Health and Pain Management. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care, focusing on the intersection of mental health and pain management. This role is critical in creating and implementing treatment plans that improve the quality of life for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, physical examinations, and psychological evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate behavioral health modalities with pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families about pain management techniques and behavioral health strategies.
- Prescribe medications, as appropriate, in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute actively to team meetings and case discussions.
- Stay current with advancements in the fields of behavioral health and pain management through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona.
- Certification in Behavioral Health and/or Pain Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of current behavioral health practices and pain management protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
