Bring your passion for Cardiovascular Intensive Care patient care.  We are a cardiac referral site and receive patients from all over the state in need of cardiac care. CVICU specializes in common cardiothoracic surgery; coronary artery bypasses and ‘off pump’ bypass procedures. Valve repair and replacement, MAZE, vascular, and thoracic surgeries encompass the additional surgical patient population in addition to a variety of medical cardiac patients recovering from acute MI, CHF and post cardiac intervention.  

Treatments plans include hemodynamic monitoring and/or IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) therapy, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), multiple vasopressors, Swan-Ganz catheters, ventricular assist device (VAD), ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and advanced respiratory therapies (i.e. ventilators, oscillators, nitric oxide, and rotoprone therapy).You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
