Registered Nurse; RN; Endoscopy

Abrazo Central Campus is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. This position provides professional and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of GI procedures at our centrally located facility at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix. The RN will coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and ensure high-quality bedside care throughout the perioperative process.

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to manage patient care effectively.
• Supervise and delegate to other healthcare team members, using independent judgment.
• Systematically evaluate nursing practice quality and contribute to process improvements.
• Support patient safety and infection control practices.
• Participate in hourly rounding and may be designated as charge nurse when needed.
• Provide care for endoscopy procedures:
• Colonoscopy
• Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

• Effective interpersonal communication and strong teamwork abilities.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment with the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding customer service and basic computer proficiency.
• Strong preference for candidates with prior Endoscopy experience.
• Minimum Education:
  
  Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Required upon completion of orientation.
