RN - Cath Lab-Phoenix-AZ

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures. Prepares and monitors patients before, during, and after procedures while supporting the cardiac care team and responding to changes in patient condition.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of Cath Lab, cardiovascular, critical care, or procedural nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac procedures and conscious sedation is preferred.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CCRN or cardiovascular nursing certification preferred.

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, anticoagulants, contrast, and sedation as ordered.
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during cardiac and interventional procedures.
• Recognize and respond promptly to arrhythmias, bleeding, hemodynamic changes, and other complications.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety standards.
