Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, MS, located in the healthcare organizations general service area, provides direct patient care to individuals requiring medical-surgical interventions. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, ensuring high-quality outcomes for diverse patient populations.

  This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, physical assessments, diagnostics, laboratory data, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to formulate and revise plans of care.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Current, valid RN license in state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  The nurse will deliver care based on evidence, participate in research activities, and contribute to improved patient outcomes through adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. This role may involve supervising staff and coordinating activities within the department.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
