  Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and participates in patient education and discharge planning. Responsible for clinical documentation, clinical decision-making, and supervising ancillary staff. Ensures patient and staff safety through adherence to safety policies and procedures. Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities post-orientation and participates in ongoing professional development.
