Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4:00 PM Role:
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care in a very busy outpatient clinic. Incumbent will be one of 3 supervisors managing a team of clinical nurses who administer chemo, infusion vitamin therapies, sickle cell treatment, etc. Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a clinical nurse Prior experience as a preceptor, charge nurse, or similar leadership role Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for pediatric care Join an award-winning team that is committed to delivering exceptional care to children and families across Arizona. The Clinical Supervisor coordinates shift operational flow in conjunction with organizational and departmental strategic goals, objectives, and standards and is the hospital’s clinical representative/resource for patients, families, and the healthcare team, at both the unit and organization levels.
This position provides clinical leadership of patient care services and directs supervision of nursing and support staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, professional standards and requirements. Provides clinical leadership with accountability in promoting quality patient care and an engaging work environment, during assigned shift.
Associate degree in nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (Required)
Two years nursing experience or demonstrated competence in bedside nursing role (Required)
Current Arizona RN license or RN Compact license with multistate privileges, and in compliance with the Arizona State Board of Nursing licensure requirements (Required)
Current BLS provider from the American Heart Association (Required)
Current PALS or NRP provider from the American Heart Association (Required)
Current and valid nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise required or must be able to obtain within one year of eligibility (Required)
Bachelor's or higher in healthcare related field (Preferred)
One year supervisory or lead experience (Preferred)
Experience with pediatric patient populations (Preferred)
