Note:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Clinical Educator to join our Emergency Department team and support the ongoing development of nurses in our Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. This role plays a critical part in ensuring staff are prepared to provide expert care across a wide range of pediatric emergencies through innovative education, competency development, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Working collaboratively with nurse leaders and interdisciplinary partners, the Clinical Educator helps foster clinical excellence, professional growth, and a culture of lifelong learning.

This position develops, implements, and evaluates proactive educational plans and programs to address staff and departmental needs to ensure ongoing enhancement and improvement of staff skills, competencies, and professional growth in accordance with established standards, requirements, and regulations.

Masters in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing and Masters in a related field (Required)

Two years experience as a RN in a preceptor and/or leadership role in the specific specialty area (Required)

Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date (Required)

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (Required)

Two years experience as an educator teaching adults (Preferred)

National Certification in clinical specialty and/or nursing professional development (Preferred)
