Urgent Care Veterinarian - Urgently Hiring + Generous Schedules
A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona, and have experience working in an urgent care setting.

- Provide urgent care to animals, diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe medications and treatments to stabilize and manage conditions.
- Perform surgeries as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Encourage the growth of support staff through the Level Up training program.
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license in good standing to practice in Arizona (or ability to obtain a license).
- Experience in urgent care settings, ideally 1-3 years (new graduates will also be considered).
- Proficiency in small animal medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
