DVM: Urgent Care Veterinarian + Schedules

A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona, and have experience working in an urgent care setting.

• Provide urgent care to animals, diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and treatments to stabilize and manage conditions.
• Perform surgeries as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Encourage the growth of support staff through the Level Up training program.

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing to practice in Arizona (or ability to obtain a license).
• Experience in urgent care settings, ideally 1-3 years (new graduates will also be considered).
• Proficiency in small animal medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
