Construction Quality Assurance Manager; QAM

Hot Foot Recruiters is supporting a leading semiconductor construction firm in hiring a skilled Construction Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) to oversee quality programs for large-scale, high-tech projects. The QAM will guide a team of Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs), manage inspections, uphold documentation accuracy, and maintain quality excellence from project planning through closeout.

• Develop and manage comprehensive QA/QC programs aligned with project requirements, codes, and safety standards.
• Lead, train, and support Quality Assurance Representatives for field inspections, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
• Oversee inspections and testing activities related to piping fabrication, installation, assembly, and system commissioning.
• Maintain and track QA/QC logs, monitor discrepancies, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Record non-conformance reports and confirm completion of corrective actions.
• Set up and manage tracking systems (digital and paper) for system installation, testing progress, and sign-off workflows.
• Conduct audits of examination records, certifications, and quality documentation.
• Validate purge gas flow and pressure during installation and testing of piping systems.
• Ensure that all installed materials are verified, approved, and traceable in accordance with project specifications.
• Deliver QA/QC training sessions to QARs, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Work closely with project leaders to identify potential risks and implement quality improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness standards on tools, work areas, and installed systems in accordance with industry expectations.
• Provide daily onsite oversight to uphold quality and safety performance across the project team.

• 5+ years of construction experience, including 2-3 years directly in QA/QC with emphasis on piping and system installation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience mentoring or supervising QA/QC staff is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction workflows, piping systems, and applicable industry codes.
• Familiarity with QA/QC platforms such as Procore or BIM 360.
• Demonstrated strength in documentation, auditing, and reporting.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors, ASQ certifications (CQA or CQE), and OSHA 30 or similar safety training certifications (preferred but not required).
