QA​/QC Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts across multiple large-scale data center infrastructure projects. This role combines project management and program development with direct oversight of all QA/QC personnel and processes. The Supervisor will partner with Project Managers to develop and implement a standardized QA/QC program in the Phoenix branch, manage hiring and staffing of QA/QC professionals, and ensure quality standards are consistently met across all sites.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in fiber optics and cabling, along with proven leadership experience in building and managing quality teams for large, complex projects.

• Oversee all QA/QC positions across active project sites.
• Partner with Project Managers to build, implement, and refine a branch-wide QA/QC program.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management of QA/QC staff.
• Establish quality benchmarks, testing standards, and reporting practices for fiber and cabling projects.

• Perform and oversee inspections of cable infrastructure and fiber installations.
• Enforce adherence to industry standards and company specifications for cable management, termination, labeling, and splicing.
• Direct Fluke and OTDR testing, ensuring accurate validation of fiber performance.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans to confirm compliance and quality.
• Implement corrective action plans and track non-conformance resolutions.
• Conduct audits of installation practices, including fiber tray systems, ladder racks, and power trays.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align QA/QC processes with project milestones and deliverables.
• Provide regular reporting on site quality performance, risks, and corrective actions.
• Support blueprint reviews and recommend design or installation adjustments to maintain quality.
• Assist with scheduling QA/QC resources across multiple projects to meet deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols.
• Lead safety inspections, enforce PPE use, and expedite concerns promptly.
• Participate in safety and quality meetings with project leadership.

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles within data center, telecom, or low-voltage infrastructure.
• Proven supervisory or project management experience in overseeing large QA/QC programs.
• Strong technical expertise in fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with industry tools including Fluke meters and OTDR testers.
• OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
