Quality Inspectors

You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality to identify issues, solve problems, and help us deliver products that meet exacting customer requirements.

You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality to identify issues, solve problems, and help us deliver products that meet exacting customer requirements.

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure parts meet customer, drawing, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Use precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, surface plates, sine plates, thread and pin gages, depth micrometers, CMMs, comparators, Pi tapes, hardness testers, and related equipment.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve NCRs, discrepancies, rework, and process issues.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records and certification packages for complete traceability.
• Perform inspections associated with special processes such as welding, painting, and chemical film.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Assist with internal audits and recommend improvements that support quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• 3–7 years of Quality/Inspection experience in aerospace preferred.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of precision inspection equipment and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to occasionally exert up to 20 lbs. of force and frequently up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent use of precision inspection equipment.
• Must have sufficient near vision to read blueprints, computer screens, gauges, and precision measuring instruments and be able to pass a Jaeger near-vision test.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and pass an approved color-vision test.
• Work is performed in an inspection/manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to machine noise, moving equipment, fumes, dust, and mist.
