Description:
- Perform non-linguistic quality control for English translations of pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
- Run CAT-tool and QA checks to identify inconsistencies and accuracy issues.
- Validate formatting, layout, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and compliance with client instructions.
- Process non-editable or handwritten source files and conduct formatting QC after conversion.
- Manage multiple small files and meet turnaround times typically ranging from 12 to 24 hours.
- Work according to agreed availability, including occasional weekends and bank holidays.
- At least 6 months of QC/QA-related experience in the localization industry; project management experience involving pre-delivery checks is also accepted.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above.
- Familiarity with CAT tools such as XTM or Phrase.
- Familiarity with QA tools such as Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word Track Changes.
- Availability for 4–5 hours per day.
- Ability to meet urgent 12–24-hour turnaround times and manage many small files.
- Willingness to complete an onboarding assessment.
- Submit an English CV detailing QC experience, document types reviewed, CAT tools used, and email and phone contact information.
- Freelance work arrangement.
- CAT tool license provided.
