Job Description
The Junior Property Manager will work on-site at our Phoenix office to assist with management of a diverse portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. This position will assist with building operations, building systems, lease administration, vendor service contract management, client reporting, tenant relations, financial management and project management.
Responsibilities- Respond to daily customer and client requests with outstanding customer service.
- Understand and execute the budgeting process and concepts for managed properties.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of how budgeting affects the overall property value and leasing efforts.
- Accurately understand lease abstracts, amendments, notices, etc.
- Schedule maintenance and property services via phone calls and/or emails.
- Interface with tenants and problem-solve arising situations.
- Learn and understand construction timelines, space plans, minor tenant improvement plans and Cap Ex plans.
- Review financial reports including AR, AP, balance sheet, general ledger and income statement with Property Manager(s).
- Ensure accurate review and reconciliation of collected rents and recovery charges, as well as paid expenses.
- Prepare required notices and coordinate legal services when necessary.
- Promptly identify and address environmental, health and safety issues.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts and relationships through involvement in organizations, associations and networking.
- Answer customer service phone calls as needed.
- Assist teammates on tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or identified.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure to deliver excellent customer service to clients, customers and teammates.

- Ability to calculate and understand percentages, discounts, commissions and other financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend and/or learn about property documents, financial reports and legal documents.
- Knowledgeable in cash and accrual accounting principles for property management.
- Take initiative to accomplish directives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to be flexible, multitask and prioritize multiple duties and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and internet.
- Excellent phone and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Must pass a background screening.
- Must be professional, courteous and service‑oriented.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
- Be reliable, honest and team‑player.
- Ability to handle stress and pressure consistent with the job duties in the industry.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
