We are seeking Grill Cooks with an epic level of positive attitude, a strong work ethic, who thrive in a fast-paced team environment and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the culinary space. Fresca's Mexican Grill delivers timeless food, friendly service, and great value in a comfortable space. As a Grill Cook, you are responsible for encompassing our goal of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience as well as;

• Prepares hot and cold foods by observing proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Correctly prepares all food served following company standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains work areas including equipment, utensils, tools, dishes and silverware.
• Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food are preserved.
• Performs kitchen duties including slicing, chopping, frying, and grilling.
• Responsible for mixing ingredients for green salads, fruit salads, vegetable salads and pasta salads.
• Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
• Reports necessary equipment repairs and maintenance to General Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen in a Cook or Prep Cook capacity is preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

• Possess valid Food Handlers certificate, if required by state or local government.
