Position: Server Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Server Assistant to join our team at our new restaurant located in downtown Phoenix. Our menu features a unique blend of flavors and influences from various diaspora cultures, and we are looking for a Server Assistant who can provide exceptional support to our servers and contribute to a smooth dining experience for our customers.

As a Server Assistant, you will assist with various tasks to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist servers in setting up tables and maintaining a clean and organized dining area
• Prepare and refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other essential items
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
• Assist with food and beverage service, including delivering dishes and refilling drinks
• Collaborate with servers to ensure timely and efficient service
• Assist with any additional tasks as directed by the server or management team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer service
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid food handler's card
• Must be able to pass a background check
