As part of a store team, our Counter Sales associates are responsible for ensuring customers' needs are met while supporting and executing IMS brand standards. This includes offering product knowledge, stocking, handling transactions and helping maintain a neat and clean environment within the store. When you join the team at Industrial Metal Supply you will be working in a fun, fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment, and will help ensure they all enjoy a high level of satisfaction through actively welcoming and engaging them within the store.

• Safety is our number one priority. You will be working in a high-volume retail environment and will be trained in our safety standards to maintain the health and safety of yourself and your teammates.
• Use your people skills to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.
• Work with the warehouse team to keep store areas fully stocked and organized.
• Computer experience is a plus as you will use our point-of-sale software to quote, order and fulfill customer needs.
• You’ll be using various measuring tools such as a tape measure, calipers and micrometers when needed. If this is new to you, you will learn a new skill.
• Prior metal knowledge is not required, we will teach you!
