Under direct supervision, the Meat Cutter breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products using hand tools and power equipment in accordance with company standards. Products are prepared for display or by customer order. The role requires interaction with customers for special orders and coordination with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine items needing cutting. Heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods are required.

• Break, cut, and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment according to company standards.
• Prepare products for display or as ordered by customers.
• Work with customers to take special orders.
• Collaborate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to decide which items need cutting.
• Perform heavy lifting and regularly bend, stand, and stoop.

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.
• Awareness of visual and auditory safety requirements in a fast‑paced grocery environment.

Hourly Pay Range: Minimum wage (depending on location) up to $20.00 per hour.
