• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day; responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Coach other team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and in reverse logistics (e.g., returns, empty package).
• Assist in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and on‑hand quantities in basic departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
• Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.
• Handle basic department pricing and make daily price changes; ensure proper signage and compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance; request repairs as required.
• Separate food items and place products according to policy; perform first‑in, first‑out stock rotation.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist at Pharmacy window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
• Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when management is absent.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Ability to work with applicants with arrest and conviction records considered.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
