Automation Chemistry & Immunoassay Sales Executive (ACISE) – San Diego / Flagstaff / Phoenix

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field-based commercial leader to drive new business growth and expand its laboratory diagnostics footprint in the San Diego, Flagstaff, and Phoenix regions.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the ACISE is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new customer opportunities across a defined geographic territory. The role leads strategic sales campaigns, partners cross‑functionally with Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives, and delivers tailored solutions that address clinical and operational needs. Success is measured by account retention, opportunity funnel growth, new account penetration, and compelling technical and financial presentations that demonstrate the value of Siemens Healthineers’ integrated laboratory solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on the Chemistry, Immunoassay, and Automation portfolio.
  • Lead and coordinate strategic sales campaigns, leveraging internal resources and cross‑functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Conduct in‑depth workflow analyses and day‑in‑the‑lab assessments to uncover operational inefficiencies and present tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, influencers, and stakeholders across healthcare systems, laboratories, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasting via CRM tools; participate in quarterly business reviews and account planning sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives to ensure alignment of messaging, strategy, and execution.
  • Adhere to Siemens Healthineers’ standards for ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and customer transparency.

Qualifications
  • Benefit from a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments such as capital equipment, medical devices, or diagnostics.
  • Proven success in new business acquisition and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, including Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.
  • Experience with strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller‑Heiman).
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field‑based role with regional travel.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence; no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges that violate local law.
