We’re adding a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to our National Call Center team. This role focuses on connecting with homeowners who have requested information about roofing or exterior services and converting those warm leads into scheduled demos or appointments for Sales Representatives in the field.
You’ll handle high-volume outbound calls, follow a structured call flow, ask the right discovery questions, and guide qualified customers toward the next step. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales conversations, can handle objections, and prefers working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, without the need for travel.
Key Responsibilities- Make outbound calls to warm, targeted leads who have submitted a request for service
- Follow guidelines and use conversational questioning to understand customer needs and book demos
- Handle initial objections and help customers see the value of scheduling an appointment
- Ensure all qualified calls are converted into a demo or sales appointment
- Document call outcomes accurately in the CRM and call center systems
- Partner with the call center and sales teams to meet daily and weekly conversion goals
- Maintain strong call activity levels and hit targets for demos set, demos held, and net sales impact
The Role
- Experience in inside sales, appointment setting, telemarketing, or customer-facing roles where upselling or persuasion are required.
- Comfortable having structured but natural conversations - not just reading a script
- Strong ability to think on your feet, ask clarifying questions, and handle pushback
- Familiarity with home services, roofing, or a willingness to learn
- Motivated by earning potential and goal achievement
- Ability to stay positive, motivated, and engaged throughout repetitive, high-volume calling blocks.
- 1-3 years in sales telemarketing, or customer facing roles
- Experience with Five9, CXone, Service Titan, or similar CRM/call center tools (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Experience with Home Services or equivalent preferred
- Operating Hours (EST):
- Mon–Fri: 8 AM–9 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM–6 PM
- This role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid options available for top performers. Flexible Scheduling options: 5x8's
$19 - $19 a year
