Sales Manager

The Sales Executive will achieve new sales and growth and develop business for a local bakery in the greater Phoenix area.

Build collaborative relationships across multiple functions within the bakery and with the customer base.

• Business development and sales activities
• Achieve revenue growth and profitability goals
• Manage the sales, customer support, and service issues for customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying and implementing initiatives to add value for the customers
• Develop proposals and drive customer-specific custom product initiatives
• Implement price increases and margin improvement as appropriate
• Develop new business via identifying and developing new customers in the greater Phoenix area
• Maintain and update appropriate databases and sales support systems relative to account activity, pricing, new product
• Provide written and verbal updates on sales activity and competitive activity in Phoenix

• Experience in food packaging, food manufacturing, or similar industry
• Understand the need to and the ability to create meaningful relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to navigate through complex and difficult selling situations
• Proactive work style with the energy and passion for results and the desire to make a difference
• Highly motivated and energetic; a self-starter
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Computer Literate-Word, Excel & Power Point
