We are looking for a Pickleball Software Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our fast-growing startup and help introduce our comprehensive software platform to the pickleball industry.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter, self-starter, and highly motivated sales professional who understands the pickleball ecosystem — including tournaments, leagues, clubs, tournament directors, operators, and organizers.

What You'll Do- Identify and develop new sales opportunities with pickleball tournament directors, operators, league organizers, clubs, and other industry professionals.
- Make outbound calls, emails, and other direct outreach to prospective customers.
- Confidently communicate the benefits of our software and demonstrate how it can simplify and improve tournament, league, and club operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with tournament operators, directors, club managers, league administrators, and other pickleball organizations.
- Conduct software demonstrations and help prospects understand how our platform can meet their needs.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and move opportunities through the sales process.
- Develop creative marketing and outreach strategies to generate new customers.
- Attend pickleball events, tournaments, and industry gatherings when appropriate to build relationships and generate leads.
- Help onboard new customers and ensure they understand how to effectively use the software.
- Provide customer and software support when needed.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate ideas and feature requests to the product team.
- Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and sales information in the company's CRM.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, presentations, sales materials, and other business-development initiatives.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.
We're looking for someone who is driven, energetic, organized, and comfortable taking initiative. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong understanding of the pickleball tournaments, leagues, and clubs industry.
- Be comfortable picking up the phone and calling tournament directors and operators.
- Be confident selling software and communicating its value to potential customers.
- Be highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Be a self-starter who doesn't need to be told what to do every step of the way.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be comfortable learning and demonstrating software.
- Enjoy talking to people and building long-term business relationships.
- Be competitive and motivated by achieving sales goals.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Have a genuine interest in pickleball and the people who make the sport work.
- Previous experience in pickleball tournament operations, league management, or club management.
- Experience running or organizing pickleball tournaments or leagues.
- Previous software sales or SaaS sales experience is a plus.
- Existing relationships within the pickleball industry.
- Experience using tournament or league management software with a good understanding of brackets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and similar business tools.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media, email marketing, or lead generation.
A significant portion of this position will involve outbound sales and business development.

This position is not for someone who is uncomfortable with cold calling or direct sales. We are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of turning a prospect into a customer.
