Account Manager

Remote (US preferred) Full-time $70,000 – $110,000 / yr

As an Account Manager at Mektra, you will be the primary relationship owner for our active client base. You will ensure projects stay on track, surface expansion opportunities, and turn satisfied clients into long-term partners and referral sources. This role bridges sales and delivery, making sure clients get maximum value from their investment.

• Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts
• Conduct regular check-ins to review project progress and gather feedback
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Coordinate with the development team to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Drive client retention and reduce churn through proactive relationship management
• Generate referrals and case study content from satisfied clients

• 3+ years of account management or client success experience
• Experience working with SMBs in a services or software environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable using project management and CRM tools

• Background in software development, web design, or digital marketing
• Experience managing accounts in industries like real estate, home services, or professional services
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
• Track record of driving net revenue retention above 100%
