• Provide a safe and secure living and working environment for students and staff.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents with the goal of resolution and reduction of future occurrences.

The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) and hands‑on training in various trades.

• Maintain a safe and secure Center environment.
• Investigate all accidents and incidents and prepare required reports.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and assessments of Center equipment and facilities.
• Enforce occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Conduct routine Center‑wide security tours and assist with monitoring and supervision of students.
• Respond to emergency situations and requests.
• Assist dorm staff in conducting dorm inspections and searches for contraband.
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of Center facilities and property.
• Provide residential, recreation and transportation assistance as required.
• Produce quality work and complete assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability and productivity standards.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
• Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all tasks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred.
• Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
• Must possess a valid in‑State Driver’s License and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds.
