As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property using a company vehicle as needed.
You will be the first point of contact for those in need of assistance, responding promptly and professionally to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual behavior or incidents.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
