Job Description

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security officer Part‑Time Patrol? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations center, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

  • Site location:
    Phoenix, AZ
  • Schedule – 2 shifts available:
    • Shift 1 – Part‑time, Monday‑Friday 5:00 am to 10:00 am (25 hrs/week)
    • Shift 2 – Part‑time, Saturday & Sunday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am (16 hrs/week)
  • Competitive hourly wage of $19.50/hr (daily pay available for Garda World employees)

Responsibilities
  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED (documentation required)
  • Pass extensive screening process
  • Strong report‑writing skills
  • Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience beneficial
  • State license if required

Employment is contingent on successful background check and drug screening after an offer.
