As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security‑related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a vital role in supporting a caring atmosphere by responding to needs and promoting a sense of comfort throughout the location.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Deliver customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security‑related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations and incidents according to post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or patients, providing assistance and information as needed.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
