Overnight Security Officer

The Outlets North Phoenix is hiring a full time Overnight Security Officer to patrol the grounds and provide a safe shopping experience. If you have experience as a Security Officer, this will be an incredible opportunity for you!

The Overnight Security Officer patrols the grounds and buildings of the Outlets North Phoenix. This position performs a variety of tasks while working under general supervision, and aims to keep the shopping center and its patrons safe.

• Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times.
• Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center.
• Ensures the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored.
• Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures.
• Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center's Security work plan, assigned work activities, projects and programs.
• Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel.
• Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an on going basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
• Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
