As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site policies and established procedures.
• Monitor access points, loading areas, and package handling operations for unusual activity, unauthorized access, or policy violations, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  
  Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
