Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Keep the wheels turning — literally. As a Railroad Mechanic, you’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of equipment including trucks, track machines, and hi-rail gear. You’ll work both in-shop and in the field, supporting crews across the region.

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Maintain service logs and parts inventory
• Respond to field calls and get equipment back up fast
• Support DOT/FRA compliance

• 2+ years of mechanic experience (diesel, heavy equipment, or rail preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and safety-driven
• Pass DOT and FRA drug/alcohol screening
