We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Foreman to join our team at Kooline Plumbing LLC. This role is essential for overseeing plumbing projects, ensuring quality control, and managing the construction process effectively. The Plumbing Foreman will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of service while leading a team of professionals.
Responsibilities- Supervise and direct a team of plumbers and apprentices on various residential, commercial, and/or industrial plumbing projects.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs.
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that all team members understand their responsibilities and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and safety.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials on job sites.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices.
- Assist in estimating project costs and material procurement as needed.
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts efficiently and professionally.
- 10 years of experience as a commercial plumber.
- Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role within the plumbing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of local and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety on the job site.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
