Are you a skilled electrician with a City of Phoenix Badge? Ready to put your expertise to work on critical infrastructure that keeps the city running? Industrial Power Solutions (IPS) is actively hiring Journeyman Electricians to support ongoing City of Phoenix water and wastewater projects—and we want YOU on our team.
Your Impact:As a badged Journeyman Electrician, you’ll be working directly on City of Phoenix water and wastewater treatment plants, helping ensure electrical systems are safe, reliable, and up to code. You’ll lead installations, interpret blueprints, troubleshoot systems, and support apprentices—all while adhering to the highest safety standards.
What You’ll Do:Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in municipal water/wastewater facilities
Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate, code-compliant installs
Run and bend conduit (PVC, RIGID, FLEX, GRC) and perform wire pulls
Terminate service sections, panel boards, distribution centers, and motor controls
Work independently or with a crew to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Mentor apprentices and uphold high standards of workmanship
Follow all OSHA and City safety protocols
What You Bring:City of Phoenix Electrical Badge (Required)
5–10 years of electrical experience, preferably in industrial or municipal settings
Expertise in conduit bending, wire installation, and circuit building
Strong troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail
Physical ability to lift 80 lbs., work on ladders and in active job sites
