Concrete Setter​/Finisher – Phoenix Metro

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Setter/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting forms, placing, finishing, and curing concrete on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Set and align forms for concrete slabs, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, foundations, and other structures.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
• Level, smooth, and finish freshly poured concrete surfaces using screeds, trowels, floats, and other finishing tools.
• Apply curing compounds and surface treatments as required.
• Monitor the setting of the concrete to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Repair imperfections and remove rough or defective spots after the concrete has set.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Clean and maintain tools and work area.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of concrete setting or finishing experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete properties, setting techniques, and finishing tools.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required by the job site).

• Outdoor construction environments.
• May require standing, bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and working in confined spaces.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project timelines.
