Senior Boiler Technician (Phoenix Metro)

Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Boiler Technician in Phoenix Metro to keep high-pressure steam systems operating safely, efficiently, and without downtime.

Impact

• Maintain safe and compliant boiler operations.

• Ensure steady steam for building and plant systems.

• Improve system performance through expert combustion tuning.

• Support all safety, emissions, and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and support systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance on burners, pumps, and controls.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues.

• Tune combustion systems for safety and performance.

• Maintain service logs and operational records.

• Manage water treatment and blowdown processes.

• Follow LOTO, OSHA, and all site safety procedures.

• Support inspections and work with outside contractors.

Requirements
Must-Haves:

• 5+ years with high-pressure steam boilers (Cleaver-Brooks, Miura, Raypak, Babcock & Wilcox).

• Strong knowledge of boiler controls, combustion, and ASME code.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Skilled in troubleshooting and system repairs.

Nice-to-Haves:

• EPA 608 Universal Certification.

• OSHA 30-hour safety certification.

• Technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems.

• Experience with BMS or boiler control platforms.
