Title: Foreman – Refrigerant

Reports to: Superintendent

The Refrigerant Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent and will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Refrigerant Technicians to deliver exceptional quality and customer service. The role involves working closely with the Project Manager to understand project goals and lead the team to generate profits.

• Develop solutions to prevent issues before they arise.
• Review projects with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subcontractors are procured.
• Conduct physical surveys of projects with the Superintendent, report conditions in writing if needed.
• Perform takeoffs for projects promptly and thoroughly with the Superintendent.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
• Provide daily updates on job completion percentages.
• Ensure site personnel comply with safety and company policies; document incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain weekly reports, including safety/toolbox talks, preconstruction updates, weekly production, and project-specific reports.
• Conduct inspections to ensure standards are met, coordinate start-ups, and liaise with contractors, engineers, and owners as needed.
• Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and deliveries.
• Require 4+ years of experience; journeyman status or ability to obtain license.
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists.
• Focus on increasing team efficiency and maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, punctual, able to multi-task, with strong follow-up skills.
• Professional appearance and speech.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with government facilities is a plus.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, standing, walking on uneven terrain, and climbing ladders.

• Foreman - Refrigerant I: 4+ years' experience, current journeyman license or ability to obtain, 2+ years' lead technician experience, pay $28-34/hr.
• Foreman - Refrigerant II: 4+ years' experience, 2+ years managing work and crew, ability to manage 1-10 installers, pay $32-40/hr.
• Foreman - Refrigerant III: 4+ years' experience, 4+ years managing work and crew, capable of handling any crew size, pay $38-44/hr.
• General Foreman - Refrigerant: 8+ years' experience, capable of managing any crew size, pay $42-50/hr.

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Pay Range: $28 - $50 per hour.
