- General Maintenance – Perform a variety of routine and emergency repairs, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Service Request Management – Complete work orders promptly and professionally to maintain high resident satisfaction. Interacting with residents to identify, diagnose, repair, and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, stairs, railings, gas fixtures, carpet, tiles, flooring, etc.
- Preventative Maintenance – Conduct regular inspections and perform scheduled maintenance tasks.
- On‑Call Rotation – Participate in the on‑call schedule for after‑hours maintenance emergencies.
- Inventory & Supplies – Assist in managing inventory and procuring maintenance supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration – Coordinate closely with the property management team to ensure timely and effective maintenance across properties.
- Must have your own tools and reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or a similar trade.
- EPA Certification (Required).
- CPO Certification (Recommended).
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, pool systems, and appliances.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills for logging work and using property management software (App Folio).
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
